DTC is committed to the health, safety and well-being of its employees, clients, subcontractors and all others that may be impacted by its operations. DTC is also committed to the protection and improvement of the environment in which it operates.
DTC will conduct all its work in accordance with the statutory or national requirements of The State Of Qatar. DTC recognizes that good health, safety and environmental performance is paramount and will provide all necessary funding to ensure that all risks are minimized. It will achieve this by:
- Eliminating hazards, conditions and situations that give rise to potential accidents, or reducing these hazards to a manageable level.
- Training employees in safe working practices and regularly updating this knowledge.
- Consulting with employees’ representatives on health and safety and promoting continuous improvement.
- Providing a safe working environment covering access, machinery, lighting, housekeeping, procedures and substances; and using protective equipment where required.
- Providing adequate first aid and fire fighting facilities, accident prevention and health surveillance.
- Ensuring employees understand their duties under health, safety and environmental legislation.
- Conducting business in an environmentally sensitive manner and reducing environmental impacts to a minimum.
- Reviewing and revising this policy at regular intervals.
